Location...and Photos!
Cafe Caribe - Roasted here on the island, there are 2 locations. The full service one is in the Chedraui open parking lot across from the Cozumel Palace and the other, sells only roasted beans, is on av. 65.
Zermatt Bakery - Located on the corner of av. 5 norte and Calle 4 norte. Great place for people watching and soaking in the local flavors...in all directions! Serves Cafe Caribe coffee.
Rentadora Isis - Margarita and Santiago are ready to greet you! A family operation offering personalized service and good dependable VW's, open top and closed. They also offer cars with a/c and have a jeep available. If they are booked they will call their brother who is around the corner with a few rentals of his own! Located on av. 5 near the bakery!
FPMC Cozumel Parks - The "Museo" is a must! Waterfront road on the corner of Calle 6 Norte. Begin your stay on the island with some time at Cozumel's Museum. Start with breakfast on the second floor with the 'best view ever!' Chankanaab, just south of downtown 15 minutes, is a great place for the family to spend the day. Rich in flora y fauna a fun filled day awaits you. Punta Sur, located on the southern tip of the island is a destination zone for the day, bird watching, crocodiles in the lagoon, prestine beaches, museum and lighthouse, snorkeling and lounging....perfect day in paradise! San Gervasio on the transversal road in the middle of the island is a great introduction to the Mayan Ruins and the history of the people. Get an early start to 'beat the heat', park opens at 7am. Bring bug spray and sun protection. Hire a guide to make the most of your visit!
Mezcalito's - My favorite hammock hanging beach in the world. At the end of the transversal road on the left! Now with that said, I'll meet you there!!!
Coconuts - Cozumel's highest point on the island! Great restaurant, bar with the best view. Friendly staff and a few interesting critter's....bring a t-shirt to add to palapa!
Playa Bonita - 'Bonita is pretty' and that's what this beach is! Beautiful as a matter of fact! Great beach for a long walk.
Playa Palancar - My favorite 'most authentic beach club'....being that it is the furtherest south on the island not so many of the 'cruise shippers' go there....
Paradise Beach - It sure is a paradise beach! It has everything you need! Beach, great food, great service, internet connection, good shopping, massage facilities, water activities.....cruise crowds come...but maybe people watching, while lounging in front of the sea is your idea of a nice time on the beach!
Playa Corona - Great snorkel spot...
La Palapita - A locals hangout, cheap beer, great sunset location, fun and friendly staff. Cool pier, access to water, it 'is the meeting place' in Cozumel.
